Generator Diesel Delivery in the UAE

Keep your generators running. We deliver diesel to standby and site generators at buildings, camps, farms and projects.

Diesel for Standby and Site Generators

A generator is only useful when it has fuel. Standby generators sit quiet for weeks, and then they must run for hours when the power is off. Site and camp generators run most of the day. In both cases, an empty tank means the power stops.

We bring diesel straight to the generator. Tell us where it is, the size of its tank if you know it, and how long you want it to run. We suggest an amount to order, and we can plan regular deliveries for generators that work every day.

Who Needs Generator Diesel

  • Buildings, hotels and offices

Standby power that must start and keep running when needed.

  • Labour camps

Daily power for people who live and work on one site.

  • Building sites

Site generators for tools, lights and site offices.

  • Farms and events

Power for pumps, cooling and temporary setups.

How Long Will a Generator Run on One Tank?

The idea is simple. Running time equals the diesel in the tank divided by the diesel the generator uses each hour. If a tank holds 500 litres and the generator uses 25 litres an hour, it can run for about 20 hours. These figures are only an example, so please use your own.

The hourly use is not fixed. A generator that carries a heavy load uses more diesel than one carrying a light load. You can find the typical use in the maker's manual, or ask your generator technician.

When you ask us for a quote, tell us how many hours you want the generator to run between deliveries. We use that to suggest the amount.

Standby Generators: Be Ready Before the Outage

Do not wait until the tank is low

A standby generator is a promise that the lights, lifts, pumps and cooling will keep working. That promise only holds if the tank has enough diesel on the day the power goes. Decide on a minimum level, and order a delivery before the tank falls to it.

Decide how many hours you want to cover

Think about the longest outage you want to be ready for, then work backwards. A building that wants to cover a long outage needs a bigger store of diesel than one that only needs to bridge a short cut.

Run it regularly

Most makers recommend starting a standby generator on a schedule and running it for a while. Check your manual. Each test uses a little diesel, so remember to include it in your plan.

Keep the diesel fresh

Diesel that sits in a tank for a long time can pick up water and dirt. If the generator rarely runs, a smaller, more frequent top-up is often better than one very large fill.

Camp, Site and Event Generators

Camps and compounds

Camp generators often run all day and all night. The tank can empty faster than people expect. A fixed delivery day each week keeps the camp from running low, and you can tell us if you add more generators.

Building sites

Site generators power tools, lights and site offices, and their use goes up and down with the work. Tell us the stage of the project, and we adjust the amount.

Events and temporary power

For an event, it is best to order the delivery before the event starts, and to ask for a top-up on the day if it will run for many hours. Give us the place and the time of the event.

Farms and pumps

Pumps and cooling units on farms often run on their own generators. Send a location pin and tell us how to reach the generator, because farm tracks can be hard to find.

Different Generator Setups

A tank built into the generator

Many generators have their own base tank. The driver connects to the fill point on the generator. Tell us the tank size, so we know how much it can take.

A main tank and a day tank

Some sites have a large tank and a smaller day tank that feeds the generator. Tell us which tank we should fill, and where its fill point is.

Trailer or container generators

These are common on sites and at events. Tell us where the unit is parked, and whether the area is open enough for the tanker.

Roof or basement generators

Access is the main question. Tell us how far the hose has to reach, and whether there are stairs or a ramp. We confirm what is possible before we come.

Planning for Hot Weather and Peak Demand

In the UAE summer, buildings use more cooling, and during a power cut, a generator may carry a bigger load than usual. A bigger load means more diesel used each hour. If you plan for the hot months, keep a safer buffer in the tank, and order earlier. Ask us for a regular schedule before the summer starts.

A Simple Three-Level Plan for Your Tank

A simple way to stay safe is to decide three levels for your generator tank, and write them on a sign near the tank.

The full level

This is the level you aim for after each delivery. It leaves a little room at the top, as your tank maker advises.

The order level

This is the level at which you send us a request. Set it high enough to give time for the delivery, because a request on the same day cannot always be met.

The minimum level

This is the reserve you never touch in normal use. It is your cover for a long outage, and for a delivery that runs late.

If you are not sure what the levels should be, tell us about your generator and your hours of use, and we help you decide.

What to Tell Us About Your Generator

You do not need every detail. The more we know, the better the plan.

  • The size or model of the generator, if you know it.
  • The size of the tank, and whether there is a day tank.
  • Where the generator is, and how the tanker or hose can reach it.
  • How many hours you want it to run between deliveries.
  • Whether it is running or switched off when we arrive.
  • The contact person and any site rules.

How Generator Refuelling Works

  1. Tell us about the generator

Share the location, the tank size and how much fuel you think you need.

  2. We plan the delivery

We confirm the quantity and the time, and agree how the tanker can reach the generator.

  3. Safe refuelling

The driver connects the hose and fills the tank. For safety, the generator is usually switched off during refuelling.

Refuelling a Generator Safely

Generators are usually switched off and allowed to cool before they are filled, because a hot engine or a spark near fuel is a danger. Nobody should smoke or use open flames nearby. Keep the area around the generator clear and well ventilated, and tell the driver about any hot or live parts. Our driver will not overfill the tank, and if fuel is spilled, tell the driver at once so it can be dealt with.

Questions

Generator Diesel Delivery FAQs

Can you fill a generator that is in a basement or on a roof?

It depends on access. Tell us where the generator is and how the hose could reach it. We confirm what is possible before we come.

How much diesel does a generator use?

It depends on the size of the generator and the load. If you share the model or the size, we can suggest an amount. You can also tell us how many hours it usually runs.

Can I set up regular refills for a camp generator?

Yes. Tell us how much the generator uses each week and we suggest a delivery day that keeps the tank above a safe level.

Do you deliver urgently during a power cut?

We aim for same-day delivery. Send your location and tell us the situation, and we confirm what we can do.

Should the generator be switched off for refuelling?

Usually yes. Generators are normally switched off and allowed to cool before refuelling. The driver tells you what is needed at your site.

How often should I test my standby generator?

Follow the maker's manual or ask your generator technician. Each test uses diesel, so include it when you plan the amount to order.

Can you fill a day tank as well as a main tank?

Yes, if the driver can reach both fill points. Tell us which tanks you have and where they are.

What level should I keep in my generator tank?

Pick three levels: a full level to aim for, an order level at which you ask us for a delivery, and a minimum level you keep as a reserve. Tell us about your generator and we help you set them.

Request Generator Diesel

Tell us about your generator and your location. We suggest the amount and confirm the delivery with you.
